Can you leave thorns in you're feet after you stepped on a thorn bush?

I was running outside when i stepped in some thing that was prickly & hurt. When I looked at my foot, there were a bunch of little thorns stuck in it. I got them all out but 2. Can I leave them in? Or will it get infected? They are tiny & red.
