Why would i be getting a pic prickly feeling in my legs when and after i use a tanning bed?

i started tanning about 3 weeks ago and at first it was just fine, now all of a sudden i get this prickly feeling in my legs wile im tanning and sometimes it last quite a wile after. why could this be happining.. could it be harmful to me?
