I almost got fingered, for the first time?

well he first started putting his hand down there and i was extremely wet, and i shaved there the day before but it was still abit prickly not too much but noticeable, and he felt my area didn't finger mee..felt it a few minutes and took his hand out. isn't it supposed to be longer? and did i turn him off?
