I need help on the shaving department downstairs?

I hate pubic hair I shave sometimes.the day after there would be bumps and sometimes have puss in it.of course I squeeze it out.what are the bumps?what can I do to prevent it?how do I stop the itchy prickly feeling of growing hairs?
