Republicans would you vote for the only decent honest Conservative out there?

I am beginning to think that the Roman Republic had the right idea. It would have two consuls, one that stayed in Rome and administered Rome for one year and another consul that went off and fought wars for one year, then they would switch. The switching I might not like. This country has gotten to the point where it needs one "President" to conduct foreign policy and another one to conduct domestic policy. The reason why I mention this is because Ron Paul does not have any good ideas about conducting foreign policy, at least that I have heard, but I like him as a domestic leader. Unfortunately, we have a global economy. The people in this country are largely parochial thinkers and they form their ideas in the isolation of the needs of others. And then they sit and wonder why they never get anywhere. It's like trying to get out of a valley surrounded by mountains not knowing that you are really on an island and if you got out the valley, you'll drown, and yet we actually end up drowning all the time.
